Eight to ten servings.
You need:
- 3 cups crumbled cornbread
- 2 cups coarsely crumbled day-old bread
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon dried whole sage, crushed
You do:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Stir well.
- Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered at 325° for 1 hour or until golden brown.
